"Schuyler firefighters battled frigid temperatures and strong north winds Saturday morning when they were called to Kobza Island along the Platte River to battle a blaze at a cabin.  Upon arrival, firemen found the cabin engulfed in flames.  Fifteen Schuyler firemen responded, and mutual aid was provided by the Linwood Fire Department.  Cause of the fire was electrical."  (Schuyler Sun, 1/27/05)
